Frequently Asked Questions
Find practical answers about file security, uploads, supported formats, mobile use, troubleshooting, and focused comparison guides across FullConvert.
Security and privacy
File retention, sensitive documents, and deletion requests.
Do you keep copies of the files I process?
No. Files uploaded for processing are stored only temporarily to complete the requested operation and make the result available for download. Files are automatically purged after a short retention period. For highly sensitive data, consider encrypting before upload or using an internal workflow.
Are files safe to use for company documents?
We use secure HTTPS connections, encrypted transfers, and timed temporary storage cleanup. For highly sensitive documents, consider encrypting before upload or using an internal solution.
How long are files retained?
Uploaded and generated files are retained for a short period to allow downloads and retries, then removed. Retention can vary by tool and task.
Can I request deletion of a specific file immediately?
Yes. Contact support with the file reference or transaction ID and we will prioritize deletion. Cached results or email attachments may persist outside our control.
Usage and uploads
Browser requirements, upload limits, mobile use, and speed.
What are the system requirements?
Use a modern browser such as Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari on desktop or mobile with a stable connection. For best reliability, use the latest browser version and avoid extensions that block uploads.
How do I upload files?
Drag and drop files into the upload area, paste from clipboard where supported, or choose files from your device. Multiple selection is available for batch-friendly workflows.
What is the maximum file size I can upload?
Limits vary by tool and account type. Most browser-based tools accept files up to a few hundred MB; heavy server-side conversions may have different limits. Check the tool page for exact limits.
Why is my conversion taking a long time?
Processing time depends on file size, complexity, and system load. For faster results, reduce file size, split large files, or use lower quality settings for compression tasks.
Can I use FullConvert on mobile devices?
Many tools are mobile-friendly and work in modern mobile browsers. For best UX on mobile, use single-file workflows or split large tasks on desktop.
Formats and workflows
Supported files, OCR, cloud import, and automation.
What file types are supported?
We support common image formats such as JPG, PNG, WebP, and HEIC, plus PDF, common office docs, video and audio files, GIF, and developer formats like JSON and SVG. Each tool lists accepted extensions.
Can I extract text from a scanned PDF (OCR)?
Yes. Select the OCR option if it is available in the tool. OCR accuracy depends on scan quality and fonts, so you may need to proofread the output.
Do you support cloud import from Google Drive or Dropbox?
No. FullConvert currently does not support direct import from Google Drive or Dropbox. Download cloud files to your device first, then upload them through the tool page.
Is there an API or integrations for automation?
Some server-side workflows and integrations are available. Contact support or developer docs for API access and rate limits.
Account and support
Email, support requests, and new tool suggestions.
Why didn't I receive a confirmation email?
Check your spam or junk folder and any inbox rules. If mail is still missing, try a different email address or contact support with the transaction ID.
How do I report a problem or request a new tool?
Use the Contact page to send a message describing the issue or feature request. Include sample files and steps to reproduce if possible.
Where should I start if I am not sure which tool to use?
Start with the Help Center or All Tools page. They group related converters, PDF tools, developer utilities, and workflow guides so you can move to the closest tool quickly.
